In October 2019, Honor launched the first Honor Vision Smart TV at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) in Delhi. Although, it is already launched in China in August 2019. It is the first product to be powered with HarmonyOS.
The Honor Vision TV comes with a 55-inch display that has a 4k resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, 400nits brightness, and 178 degrees viewing angle.
Now, Huawei at HDC 2020, launched HarmonyOS 2.0 with new features. Also, on 16 September 2020, the company officially confirmed that the HArmonyOS 2.0 UX upgrade for Honor Smart TVs will roll out in December. Also, It will bring a mobile interface feature.
HarmonyOS 2.0 UX features:
- Pull down settings with different buttons like smartphones.
- Multitasking and multi-device control.
- AI kids
- Fitness applications and more.
The new UX 2.0 features are similar to the mobile interface and smart features that focus on common user applications, new controls to manage connected devices. This update will improve overall performance and mobile like user experience.
The list of products that supports HarmonyOS 2.0 is expanded by Huawei at HDC 2020. The list includes tablets, smart wearables, car systems, and smartphones.
