At Huawei Developer Conference 2020, Mr. Wang Yamin, President of Global Partnerships and Eco-Development at Huawei Consumer Business Group throws light on the progress and achievements of Appgallery and HMS in the first three quarters of 2020.
Currently, 1.8 million developers worldwide have connected with the HMS ecosystem and 96,000+ applications have integrated with HMS Core worldwide.
At HDC 2020, Zhang Ping’an, President of Huawei Consumer Business Cloud Services, shared an update on its ecosystem, Huawei Mobile Service (HMS) Global releases of HMS core 5.0, which is now open for five basic engines.
“HMS ecosystem is now the third-largest in the world, and the HMS core achieved a tremendous improvement. Together with the many Huawei teams, we made the impossible possible within a year.” said Zhang Ping’an, President of Consumer Cloud Service, Huawei Consumer Business Group.
AppGallery is Huawei’s own application which comes pre-installed with all new Huawei mobile. AppGallery has now 73,000 local apps from 6000 (last year). Now reaching 700 million users globally.
“Global sales of HMS mobile phones grow rapidly since May this year and gain strong support from developers, partners, and especially global consumers. With that, we invite more developers and partners to join us actively, as we bring to life your innovations with our fully open capabilities, to benefit more consumers,” said Zhang.
