Xiaomi has launched a new addition to its Mi 10 series of smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi 10S comes with a 90Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 870 processor, and a 108MP camera. The device will go on sale from March 12 for a starting price of 3,299 yuan ($506) in China.
The Xiaomi Mi 10S has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is HDR10+ certified. Similar to the flagship Mi 11, the phone has a punch hole in the upper left corner for the 20MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi has added the Snapdragon 870 chipset with the Mi 10S and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.
On the back of the phone, you will see a four-camera array with a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The phone is also equipped with a large 4,780mAh battery with 33W wired and 30W wireless charging speeds. In terms of software, Mi 10S is running MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
Like Xiaomi’s other premium flagship phones, the Mi 10S is much cheaper than the best Android phones. The 8GB/128GB version of the Mi 10S retails for 3299 yuan (US$506) in China, while the 12GB/256GB version of the phone is 3799 yuan (US$583). Xiaomi has not disclosed any plans to launch Mi 10S in the global market.
