Redmi K40 appeared on Geekbench with Snapdragon 870 and 6GB RAM

Xiaomi will launch its high-end smartphone Redmi K40 series in China on February 25. Recently, the general manager of Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi confirmed that the typical battery capacity of the Redmi K40 series is 4520mAh.

Now, the Redmi K40 with the model number M2012K11AC and the code name “alioth” appears on Geekbench. According to the list, it has a 1.80GHz Qualcomm processor, 8GB RAM and Android 11 OS

The source code listed in Geekbench also shows that the Qualcomm chip can reach a maximum speed of 3.19GHz, which indicates that the device may be equipped with a Snapdragon 870 processor. The score was 1016 points in the single-core test and 3332 points in the multi-core test.

As of now, it is well known that Redmi K40 will be released with a 6.6-inch Samsung AMOLED E4 full HD+ resolution display, with a 120Hz refresh rate, and supported by a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Previously, we also reported that Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro are expected to have similar specifications, and the biggest difference may be their camera lens and processor.
