Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition getting January 2021 security update

Huawei has started sending out new software improvements for Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition users, including the security patch released in January 2021. The patch fixes 4 critical levels, 1 medium level and 25 advanced CVEs.

In October last year, Huawei released the refurbished Nova 7 SE and renamed it Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition in China. Equipped with the new version of MediaTek Dimensity 800U instead of Kirin 820 5G, the rest of the specifications remain unchanged.

It is worth mentioning that last month, the company also launched another updated model of Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G Lohas Edition, which is equipped with Kirin 820E processor, instead of Kirin 820.

With the Nova 7 SE 5G Lohas Edition, the Kirin 820E processor was introduced for the first time. It is a modified version of the Kirin 820, with a 6-core chip Kirin Gaming + 2.0 technology.
