Huawei Nova 8 Pro display and system improvements are coming soon

In December last year, Huawei revealed the new Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro models of the Nova series, which have the latest hardware and software technologies and 5G functions.

The Huawei Nova 8 Pro smartphone uses a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2676 x 1236p FHD +, is equipped with a 7nm Kirin 985 processor, EMUI 11, 120Hz screen refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 64MP main camera, 32MP selfie camera, 4000mAh battery etc.

After the release, Huawei released a software update for the Nova 8 series of mobile phones. The update optimizes camera effects, fingerprint unlocking, system stability, and security patches in December 2020.

In order to further improve, Huawei has begun to send new firmware updates for Nova 8 Pro users. This update brings optimization of system stability and improves the display interface.

On the other hand, Nova 8 users have grabbed these displays and made system improvements to enhance the user experience and overall device performance.

NEW VERSION:

  • Huawei Nova 8 Pro receiving EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.128 upgraded from 11.0.0.121.

THINGS TO KNOW:

  1. The update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
  2. The update will not erase any data.
  3. Keep enough storage on your device.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System/System & updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device
