On January 22, 2021, at the Honor V40 conference, Honor announced the Link Turbo network aggregation technology for Honor V40 smartphones.
According to this information, Link Turbo technology has 5G NR/CA dual-carrier support and provides network download speeds of up to 2Gbps and conversion download speeds of up to 2.3Gbps.
At the press conference, Honor also showed a comparison of network download speeds between Honor V40, Oppo Reno 5 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro. The test uses the SPEEDTEST application and China Unicom’s 5G network.
The results show that the Honor V40 can reach 2019.43Mbps, and the average speed is stable above 2Gbps, which is twice that of the other two smartphones.
The Link Turbo technology on Honor V40 includes four-network collaboration, supporting 2.4GHz + 5Ghz WLAN, 5G data, 4G data, and peak speeds up to 2.3Gbps.
This feature is automatically enabled, and can achieve a smooth network connection experience in practical applications that use high bandwidth and require a faster Internet connection.
