Which Huawei phone did you buy in 2020?

In 2020, Huawei has released many smart phones from basic models to flagship models for consumers around the world. Huawei has released Huawei Mate Xs 5G starting this year. This is an improved version of Mate X with the latest processor and software features, but since it is the original foldable phone, the price of the device is still too high.

Huawei’s 2020 flagship event started with the release of Huawei’s P40 series, which consists of three models: P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. These devices are equipped with a new 7-nanometer Kirin 990 5G processor and a new quadrilateral curved overflow display, which looks very beautiful.

These three P40 devices all have powerful camera specifications, but the P40 Pro Plus is the first mobile phone equipped with Penta camera system to achieve better photography effects.

After the release of P40, Huawei also launched its new Nova brand devices, namely Nova 7, 7 Pro and 7 SE. These smartphones are the most advanced versions of the Nova series, with various new features and a new 7nm Kirin 985 chipset with 5G capabilities.

From May 2020 to September 2020, Huawei released a series of new mid-range and cheap mobile phones in China and even the global market. These are Huawei P Smart 2021, Enjoy Z 2020 devices, Huawei Y9a, Maiman 9 and so on. In addition, there are many other devices entering the market by way of naming.

In late October, Huawei launched its new Mate flagship product: Huawei Mate 40 series, which includes – Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, Mate 40 RS. With these flagship products, the company launched the first 5G chipsets processed by 5nm-Kirin 9000 and 9000E.

In December, Huawei released the new Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro devices, equipped with a 7nm Kirin processor, a new camera design and an ultra-curved edge display that can achieve the largest and fascinating viewing angle.

This year, Huawei also released HarmonyOS 2.0, the latest version of its own distributed operating system. Recently, the company began recruiting Huawei P40 and Mate 30 series, and began testing HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile developer beta. The company plans to transfer its existing equipment to HarmonyOS by 2021.

In addition, Huawei is also testing its devices against the latest Android-based operating system skin (EMUI 11 based on Android 10.1). The flagship product lineup includes Huawei P40, Mate 30, MatePad Pro, Nova 6, Nova 7, MatePad 10.8, Mate Xs, all of which have obtained stable EMUI 11 versions in their home countries. However, the beta version of EMUI 11 for global users is underway.
