Huawei P30 on EMUI 11 received a new Flash file transfer function with new software update

After China launched the stable EMUI 11 version for Huawei P30 series. Huawei has expanded EMUI 11 beta testing for the P30 series in different regions such as the United Kingdom, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Now, Huawei is rolling out a new software update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro users in China, which will install new file transfer functions and various new optimization functions to improve the overall user experience.

As early as October, at the Huawei Mate 40 series conference, Huawei demonstrated a new flash file transfer function, which can provide 305 Mbps long-distance high-speed transmission to transfer large files up to 400GB. This feature is very useful when sending large files at super fast speed, but it is not yet certain when it will be released to users worldwide.

[Huawei P30 series] EMUI 11.0.0.128 version upgraded from EMUI 11.0.0.120

Update log:

  • The new Flash file transfer function allows users to transfer large files, high-definition videos and images without worrying about the size, distance and image quality will not be compressed.
  • New bright screen dynamic effect
  • Optimize the display of the volume bar in certain scenes

  • Currently, this update is being rolled out in China.
  • This update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
  • The update will not delete any data.

How to update:

Download by setting:

  • Open settings
  • Click System and Update
  • Open software update
  • Click Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click download and install
  • Restart the device after installation

Download via supporting apps:

  • Open the support app on the device
  • Go to service tab
  • Click the update button
  • Click Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click download and install
  • Restart the device after installation
