Honor 9A starts getting August 2020 security update

Huawei officially launched MagicUI 4.0 at HDC 2020. The recruitment of devices is already started. Alongside this, Honor 9A rolling out with the August 2020 security update.

Honor 9A was launched in March 2020, which brings a 6.30-inch display with 720×1600 pixels resolution. Having an operating system based on Android 10 and user interface Magic UI 3.0.

Update Instructions:

Through Setting:

  1. Open Settings in your device.
  2. Click on system & updates.
  3. Click on software update.
  4. Check for update
  5. Click on the download button.
  6. Install updates
  7. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen.
  8. Reboot the device.

Through Support app:

  1. Open Support app in your device.
  2. If not installed, download it from play store.
  3.  Open service tab.
  4. Tap on update.
  5. Check for updates
  6. Click on the download button.
