Huawei P40 Pro + is official with Leica five-shot, 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom

Yu Chengdong announced the lens specifications of the Huawei P40 series. The P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro + are equipped with rear three, four, and five cameras, respectively.

Among them, the Huawei P40 is equipped with a super-sensing Leica triple camera, including a 50-megapixel super-sensing main camera (RYYB), an 8-megapixel telephoto lens (3x optical zoom, OIS image stabilization), and a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens (17mm).

The Huawei P40 Pro uses four super-perceptive Leica cameras, including a 50-megapixel super-sensing main camera (RYYB), a 40-megapixel super-sensitive cinema lens (18mm), and a 12-megapixel super-sensitive periscope telephoto lens (RYYB, 5x optical zoom). , OIS), and a 3D deep-sensing camera (TOF).

Huawei P40 Pro + uses Huawei’s original 10x zoom structure with an equivalent focal length of 240mm. It is the only mobile phone in the industry to achieve 10x pure optical zoom.

The P40 Pro + also adds a 3x telephoto for mid-range zoom, relaying between wide-angle and periscope telephoto, achieving a smooth transition from mid-range to long-range. This lens is particularly suitable for portrait photography, close to the 85mm golden focal length.

The P40 Pro + adds an OIS optical image stabilization mechanism to the super-sensing main camera, 3x telephoto, and 10x perimeter telephoto to resolve the main camera and telephoto shake.

The P40’s 50-megapixel main camera is currently equipped with the largest 1 / 1.28-inch CMOS with a single-pixel size of 1.2 μm. It can be aggregated into 2.4 μm large pixels through the Quad Bayer quadruple, which is one of the largest single-pixel sizes in the industry.

The main camera uses an RYYB color filter array. The green pixels in the traditional RGGB CFA are replaced with yellow pixels, which increases the light input by 40%.
